My name is Bram van der Burght I am 23 years old and studying Communication Systems in Groningen. I joined LightSpeed this week for my internship right at the start of a new beginning. I will be staying for 5 months. This internship has thrown me into the deep end. I will mainly be building, maintaining and updating LightSpeed Bliki’s that will be launched during my internship. I look forward to learning as much as possible about Social Media and Bliki Development .

Groningen is a city in the north of Holland and I’ve been living here for 5 years now. Originally I am from Tilburg in the south of Holland. I’ve always worked as a bartender in all kinds of bars, casinos and discos to support my study and the rest of my hobbies. I like Snowboarding, travelling and festivals. Snowboarding is something I love doing but hadn’t had the time to do last 2 years. My travelling experience stands mostly within the borders of Europe by doing small road trips and short vacations. Although last year I went to Goa India were I had the time of my life hopping from beach party to party beach on my motorcycle. Now I am here in Cape Town so I can ad that to my list as well. In February I want to fly to Brazil and after that to Argentina just for backpacking and learning Spanish so I’ll be back in The Netherlands around June.

I love music (who doesn’t) especially minimal techno. The Germans are very good at making this music so that’s why I visit a lot of festivals in Germany.
