To download the LSX Banners Extension, follow one of the following steps

  2. You can also download and install the extension directly from the backend of your website:
  • Login to the backend of your website
  • Hover over the “Appearance” menu item and select the “LSX” sub-menu item
  • You will notice a list of the current LSX extensions under the “Enhance LSX”
  • Select the extension labelled “LSX Banners ”
  • You will be redirected to our website where you can purchase and download the plugin


  • Navigate to the back-end of your WordPress website
  • Hover over the “Plugins” item on your Dashboard
  • Select the “Add New” sub item
  • Select the “Upload Plugin” option and choose the “LSX Banners ” extension .zip file you recently downloaded
  • Select “Install Now”
  • Once the plugin is installed, select “Activate Plugin”


API License Activation

Activate your extension by inserting the license key you received when completing a purchase of the extension.

  • Navigate to your WordPress Dashboard
  • Hover over the ‘Appearance” menu item
  • Select the “Theme Options” sub-menu item
  • You will land in the “Display” ta
  • Navigate to the tab labelled “API”
  • Select the “License Keys” sub-it
  • You will notice a field heading “LSX Banners”
  • Fill your valid registration email and API key into the provided fields
  • Select “Activate

Configure the basic settings for your plugin:

  • Navigate to your WordPress Dashboard
  • Hover over the ‘Appearance” menu item
  • Select the “Theme Options” sub-menu item
  • Here you will see a list of submenu item
  • Select the “Placeholders” sub-item
  • Configure the available placeholder options to display these images across all single posts/pages

Banner Placeholder – Add a general banner placeholder image across your site page

Archive Placeholder – Add a banner placeholder for your archive pages

Blog Placeholder – Add a placeholder banner image for your blog post

Disable Placeholder on Blog Posts – This disables the placeholder on blog posts

Disable Single Posts – This Disables the single post viewing  (Displays a small flag in front of the name.

Add a Banner Image

  • Navigate to any post type or page from your WordPress Dashboard
  • Select a single post/page
  • Once on the single post/page, scroll down past the body content section until you notice a field labelled “Banners
  • Configure the available options to set your banner image/video

Height – Configure the height of the banner image (leave blank for default)

X Position – Set the horizontal alignment of the banner image using the drop-down menu.
The following options are available:

  • Left
  • Right
  • Center

Y Position – Set the vertical alignment of the banner image using the drop-down menu
The following options are available:

  • Top
  • Bottom
  • Center

Image – Select an image to upload by selecting “Add new” and either choosing an image from your media library or computer (image must be over 1024px in width and over 800kb for best presentation

Video (mp4) – Add a video file to rather display a video in your banner

  • Once the banner image is configured, select the “Preview” button on the top-right of the edit page to view the results before publishing
  • Publish once you are happy with the configuration
