The WooCommerce Branding extension allows you to replace the default WooCommerce colours and icons with your own in the administration area. It’s great for business owners looking to give their store’s backend a personal touch.
How The Wren Design Uses WooCommerce Branding
The Wren Design is an eCommerce store that sells uniquely designed bags. The owner, Wrendren, wants the store’s backend (admin section) to reflect The Wren Design brand. To customise the look of WooCommerce easily, she uses WooCommerce Branding.
After installing and activating the plugin, Wrendren sets up WooCommerce Branding by going to WooCommerce >> Settings >> Branding.
At the WooCommerce Branding settings panel, she adds “Wren Shop” to the Name field. By doing this, she replaces all instances of “WooCommerce” with the name of her shop.
For the URL to icon field, she enters in a URL that refers to a place on the internet where the Wren Shop logo image is located. When you look at the image on the right, you will see that this logo now replaces the main WooCommerce menu icon.
Lastly, she changes the Admin section icon colours to replace the standard admin icons with a new colour scheme the matches The Wren Design brand.
WooCommerce Branding allows you to give your WooCommerce store a personal touch. And allows you to easily replace the default WooCommerce colours and icons with your own in the administration area.
